Henry Ford was born on July 30th, 1863 and died on April 7th 1947. Henry Ford was a mechanic from Michigan, known for creating the model T car in 1908. He is also known for using the assembly line to mass produce his cars, making them cheaper to buy and easier to repair making him a world-famous company head (“Henry Ford Biography”). Henry Ford’s name is still used across the world.

Henry Ford wrote the quote “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, either way you’re right.” Ford is saying that people make their own decisions and whatever anyone thinks they can they can do it. Ford was just a kid on a farm in Michigan, but farm life was not what he wanted. He wanted to work on machines and he thought he could do it so he did and he became successful. He said the quote to inspire people to do what they believe they can do.

When someone thinks they can do something no matter how much they fail they will eventually learn to do it, as long as they keep trying. When someone thinks that they can do something motivates them to keep doing it because they know that they can do it. But when anyone thinks that they can’t do something they will never be able to do it. No one will ever have any motivation and without motivation no one would be able to learn from their mistakes and keep going. A simple example of this is whenever I start something new I’m very bad at it. My first reaction is always that I can’t do it, but my friends or family encourage me and remind me that I can do it. When I change my mindset and think that I can do it I still can’t do it. Although I do get better and better at it until I can do it.
